Despite the overwhelming number of responses to my trailernote I will try again with another topic.

Will I feel a big difference in quality and wear by choosing 105 over Tiagra components for my new
bike? (Apart from the lighter wallet.)

Talking to myself again... but what components would be worth upgrading... to something
better than 105.

Mike, Read this site and their 105 and Tiagra reviews to get an idea. http://www.roadbikereview.com/
105 is good stuff (except the cranks) and Tiagra is decent also. 105 tends to be lighter/fancier
components and that can be a good or bad thing. I have been running a 105 rear hub for a year with
no problems.
