Shimano to Campy, King Hub

I've got a pair of wheels with King hubs that I want to mount on my Campy record bike. Besides using the J-TEK shiftmate, are there any conversion hubs that can be recommended? I've heard from one source that the American Classic sucks, and the Wheels Manufacturing might be too close to the driveside spokes. Not sure about the Mavic M10 on a King hub. Help!

Contact King. Someone may make a freehub body compatible with King hubs. I know DT Swiss have interchangeable freehub bodies, but Chris AFAIK makes only Shimano.
