Any thoughts on the pros and/or cons of top end shimano (XT, XTR) V
brake levers compared to the Avid SD (SD-SL, SD-7)V brake levers? I plan
on running XTR V-brakes. TIA.

AndyThe Avid SD-7 lever works and feels great but tends to rattle annoyingly.
At least the ones we have. XT and XTR levers stay quiet and therefore
have a slight edge, IMO. Don't know about the other Avid levers.Ron Abramson
