Shock options for Stumpjumper FSR

I just got a Stumpjumper FSR Elite Disc and was wondering what other
shock options exist other than the Fox. The bike comes with a Fox
Float R shock and has a 'pierced' tube through which the shock goes.
If I don't like the shock (I've heard some negative comments about
them but the bike is awesome), does anyone know of another shock that
would work on a Stumpy FSR? There might be some limitations based on
the way the shock passes thru the tube.

Thanks in advance......

I'm pretty happy with my Fox on my Ventanna, it has held up well. Many
seem to like the 5th Element, but there is more than one story regarding
its durability. I don't believe that Specialized recommends a coil shock
for that bike. You could always spend $175 and get the Fox Pushed, most
seem to really like that option, except for the price.

I was told from a guy I work with that some riding buddies he knows
have had problems with losing oil & air pressure, shock sag, and
rattling noises in less than 1 year (I know - a friend of a
friend...). He did comment that Fox was pretty good with customer
satisfaction with the riders he talk with about this. I'm not
expecting to have any problems and my research before buying the bike
showed Fox makes quality products. I'm a relatively new rider that
just switched from a Rockhopper and was just wondering what options
(if any) are available for other shocks that would fit the Stumpjumper
FSR after having heard this guy's stories.

Been riding my Fox Float R for over a year with no problems.

Ah, okay. Yeah, every production line produces a couple of lemons. I
was just curious because I recently bought a bike with that shock ...
