Maybe it is the only one left that is in "museum quality" condition. That said, I know of two in this area. One was sold at a garage sale last summer just a couple of houses down the road from me. I think they were asking $75.00. I was looking at it but it was too small for me. The other belongs to my friend Aaron. It is in good condition, a little clean up and a little touch up paint and it will be in "museum quality" condition too. Aaron takes care of his bikes. Boy, is he gonna be surprised when I tell him that his old touring bike is worth $2000. Well, maybe not because I know that he doesn't have a Kashimax F1 saddle, a Sachs Huret Odometer from Germany, or a brake line mounted convex mirror.

IMHO, this is just another person who has an unreal perception of the value of bikes from the 1980's. The market was flooded with them, even Shogun 1500s. This seller is going to be hard pressed to get $600 for the bike, let alone $2000. But you never know, he might find a sucker.
