We are all different sizes, shapes and vary in the nature of our perspiration.

I'd suggest you avoid shorts with a grip strip round the thigh.

Garment, saddle and bicycle fit are all very personal matters. You
really have to try it before you buy it...

Do you mean the leg grippers at the bottom are too tight? Try stretching
them, or they may loosen after a few washes if the shorts are new, or you
may just get used to them... I remember this bothering me a lot when I
first starting wearing cycling shorts, but I don't often notice any
serious irritation now.

If you have a branch of Decathlon to hand, then you might try theirs.
They are dirt cheap and work well enough for me...
