Shredded Beef Burritos
2 lbs. Stew Meat or similar, cubed 1 small jar Whole Green
Chilies, diced ( Chi Chi's ) 1 can Rotel's Diced Tomatoes &
Green Chilies 2 cloves garlic,diced 1 1/2 stalk celery,
diced 1 bunch cilantro, diced fine 4 or more jalapenos,
deseeded & diced salt to taste 12 or more tortillas
options: refried beans, cheese & or more heat.
Put all ingredients in a pot with enough water to cover the
meat & cook on low for about 2 hours. You can have a richer
flavor if you replace the water with chicken broth. When
tender remove meat & shred using two forks. Put back in the
pot and cook down excess liquid, but make sure you do not
allow the mixture to become to dry.
There is a big difference in flavor between ground beef and
shredded beef, Check it out!
