Six elite men earn nominations to world championship 'cross team

USA Cycling announced today automatic and discretionary nominations in the elite menandrsquo;s category for the 2007 UCI Cyclo-cross World Championships scheduled for January 27-28 in Hooglede-Gits, Belgium. Three athletes met automatic qualification criteria, while three more earned discretionary picks. Ryan Trebon, Tim Johnson and Barry Wicks met the automatic conditions as the top-three Americans in the top 50 of the UCI standings. Discretionary picks went to Jonathan Page, Erik Tonkin and Tristan Schouten after turning in solid performances throughout the season internationally or domestically.
