Sizing advice purchasing a pinarello sestriere

I rode it and felt nice. It had a short 80mm quill stem.
Just couldn't tell if it was right as it needed a bit more reach which I do realise can be changed very easily.

Could be I'm just use to riding a bike for a long reach now.

Any advice would be much appreciated.
Also is £500 a reasonable price for a sestriere with Campagnolo Veloce 8 speed groupset with campagnolo Mexico wheels. In a very clean state.

I have a Sestriere, and have owned it for about 15 years, having built it up from parts. It is a nice frame that steers well. Mine has a 56cm seat tube and I'm 5' 11, so I'd think that 58 would be right for you. I run a 120 mm stem. I have no idea about price, these classic bikes are worth what someone is willing to pay, and £500 is not much money for a very good classic. Bear in mind that the frame will take modern equipment - mine has Campag Centaur 10 speed.
