I've recently been diagnosed with borderline diabetes at 52 yrs old because my blood sugar was 130
after 12hrs of fasting. Assuming the diagnosis is right i have a question about the affect of
diabetes on sleep. Sometimes at night i get so hungry i cant sleep until i eat to calm he craving
down. In the hours between eating and when i drop off i get a twitching in my muscles which makes it
hard to sleep.I wonder if this is an affect of high blood [email hidden]

You may have "restless leg syndrome". I don't think there
is a strong association with diabetes and blood sugars
levels. I am not sure though when blood sugar levels are
really high. I find that doing some leg exercises even in
the middle of the night to point of fatique lets me fall
back to sleep..Larry
