This is a little embarassing but i recently bought a set of lights for my bike and have a Smart Polaris 7 front LED light but am incapable of opening it to insert batteries! Have removed the screw but nothing seems to pull apart.... The instructions are worse than useless (remove fastening screw, done, and remove lens unit, which seems impossible). Any help would be very much appreciated.

Hi Cona, I've seemed to come across the same difficulty with my Polaris 7 Bike light. That lens unit won't budge and like you said, the vague instructions are rubbish. I'm assuming after 4 weeks you have had some success with getting those batteries in? Any advice?

Indeed, a bit of brute force!! Basically the lens unit doesn't come off. Once you've removed the screw i ended up wedging a knife in and levering off the bottom panel (the one that the screw has just come out of). once you've done it once it comes off much easier but is very stiff the first time. Hope that helps
