I received a brochure in the mail yesterday, titled "Smart Travel Choices for South East Queensland". Some of you will already have one, or you will get one soon. Anyway, this brochure refers to a document called "Smart Travel Choices for SEQ" available from www.transport.qld.gov.au/smart.travel.choices. I've had a read and it's a huge step in the right direction. Provide feedback at www.getinvolved.qld.gov.au. We really should all make an effort to do this (I am doing it right now!).

Now people - GET INVOLVED.

Excellent stuff, and there's *plenty* of opportunities on the site to provide feedback ie: online survey, sending emails or submissions, community information sessions and organised events. So there's no excuse for the locals to say they weren't consulted! Obviously the QLD authorities realise the writings on the wall for car culture, so to speak. Ditto, the continued squeeze on local infrastructure.
