Cyclist charged after stab attack A female cyclist was attacked and stabbed by another cyclist as she rode along a street in North Somerset. The attack on the 29-year-old woman from Weston-super-Mare, took place near the Golden Lion pub in High Street, Worle, on Saturday. Police said the victim was riding a blue and white bike and was attacked by a man on a maroon-coloured bike. A 47-year-old man has been charged with attempted murder and is due to appear before North Somerset Magistrates. Police are renewing their appeal for witnesses to the attack and are keen to speak to anyone in the area near the High Street at around 0700 BST on 14 April. The extent of the woman's injuries are not known.
