Before I even started this ride I knew it wasn't going to be pretty. But it was a nice day out and the following day is always my day off the bike so I didn't want to waste the nice weather. Decided to go play in the Burg / Leominster before heading home and playing on some hills. Could never get on top of my gears and felt like I was peddling in squares the whole ride. Great weather and plenty of suffering make for a fun day, and Klondike Bars are always a nice recovery treat.

Oh yeah...that was a craptastic stretch of road.

Not a thumbs down ride! Nice day...nice terrain...even a bad day on the bike is better than a good day at work!

If that section of road was in good shape it would be a road you could fly on. Very light roller that you drop into and could carry your speed over the whole length of the road ( almost 3 miles).

You are correct any day on the bike is a nice day.
