In recognition of its longevity, the New Jersey-based Somerset Wheelmen Bicycling Club will celebrate its 70th anniversary Saturday, January 27th in Bridgewater, N.J. in a ceremony that will feature guest speaker Mike Fraysee, United States Cycling Federation board president and vice president of the Pan American Cycling Federation. Established in 1936 by Fred andldquo;Popandrdquo; Kugler, the Somerset Wheelmen Bicycling Club promotes women's, junior's and master's racing through a variety initiatives and runs the famed Tour of Somerville, the longest continually-run bicycle race in the United States.
