I come across this funny song by Franciscus Henri - Come Cycling
If you have anymore good songs plz post them.

Come cycling, come cycling just try it and you will see
Come cycling, come cycling you will love it just like me

I love to go a cycling it’s just the best thing out
It’s the best way to keep fit, the best to get about

Come cycling, come cycling just try it and you will see
Come cycling, come cycling you will love it just like me

Up and down the hills I go, through the parks and lanes.
I like it when it’s nice and hot I love it when it rains

Come cycling, come cycling just try it and you will see
Come cycling, come cycling you will love it just like me

When I’m riding on my bike people all shout “hi Francis”
I shout “how you going back” and I’m never shy

Come cycling, come cycling just try it and you will see
Come cycling, come cycling you will love it just like me

Sometime dogs give chase and bark. I don’t give a hoot
I turn around and chase them back and give my horn a toot.

Come cycling, come cycling just try it and you will see
Come cycling, come cycling you will love it just like me

When I’m riding on my bike people stop and stare
I haven’t got a BMX I don’t realy care.

Come cycling, come cycling just try it and you will see
Come cycling, come cycling you will love it just like me

When I’m riding on my bike nothing can go wrong.
Hey the wheel are falling off it’s time to end this song.

Ahhh Come cycling, come cycling just try it and you will see
Come cycling, come cycling you will love it just like me

Come cycling, come cycling just try it and you will see
Come cycling, come cycling you will love it just like me

Daisy Daisy, give me your answer, do.

I sing this with my daughter on our Halfwheeler rides.

Spokes by Allan Holdsworth. No lyrics though. There's actually a pic of the man on a roadbike on one of his albums. So there's some jazz songs about cycling too, composed by a cyclist.

THink blues:

I'm holdin' out for a carbon fiber frame
Nothin' gets me strokin' like a carbon fiber frame can
My legs can't wait to straddle
That carbon fiber saddle
And ride that baby all day long

I've shared my chamois with aluminum toys
They're light and they're fast, like a bony little boy
All that bumpin' and a-grindin
Was too hard on my behind, and
so I'm lookin' for a carbon fiber frame.

<chorus>

I've gotten close and comfy with a frame of steel
It's strong and it's supple, and I love the way it feels
But it takes so long to get it up ... to speed
A carbon fiber frame is what I need.

<chorus>

tag line (while stroking the appropriate bicycle part:)
And if I can't have the frame, I'd settle for a good fork....

(Composed riding an aluminum bike with underinflated tires... soft tires does *not* mean a soft ride!)

Anne Murray - A Bicycle Built For Two
Nice song,thankyou for that Diablo.

Here are a few more songs and funny ones.
Blümchen - Bicycle Race <----This is a good song to hear.
Leo Kottke - Busted Bicycle
Ralph McTell - Girl On A Bicycle
Monty Python - Bicycle Repairman
Scissor Sisters - Bicycling with the Devil
Nazareth - My White Bicycle.
Tom Waits - Empty Pockets & Broken Bicycles <-----I found this song strange.

Franciscus Henri- wasn't he that bearded hippy bloke who used to strum a guitar on TV and sing religious songs?

what is he doing now?

My favourite bike song is
"...stay off my wheel you lazy part-timer..."
as I'm riding to work
and trying to blow off someone who is riding a mountain bike with those ridiculous 10 metre wide handlebars
wearing sneakers

"Get up on yer bike" by Luka Bloom (irish).

top song...reminds me of years spent riding Killarney's lakes...he has accurately and expertly summed up 2yrs of my life. it could have been me writing the song...so closely it resembles where i lived/what i did on my bike for 2yrs. its uncanny.

What a corker. Not as good as upper-class twit of the year though.

Has anyone heard the song composed about Marco? I should go and look for the article I read about it.

These lyrics just might work to the Loan Me a Dime melody.
