    In case you missed it on the news, yesterday SpaceShipOne
    made history as the first privately funded craft to reach
    the lower limits of outer space.

    The pilot was 62 year old Mike Melvill, and there is a good
    post-flight quote from him in this article:

    "mind-blowing... Absolutely an awesome thing." He rather
    sensibly added that he would "back off a little bit now and
