Howdy, all.
Does anybody out there know where I can get some mtb cleat shims to suit shimano SPD cleats that won’t foul the pedal when I try to clip in (and out)?
I need to run about 2mm of shims on my left shoe due to a leg length difference, but find that the leading edge of the shims catches on the pedal and I have to jiggle the foot a few seconds to get the cleat to engage. I’ve tried moving the shims back as far as I can, but still the shims catch. This has obvious safety ramifications for riding in traffic. It also makes technical off-road riding very problematic if I have to dab with my foot at any stage which, being a beginner, is often.
Thanks, guys.
