I disagree. I think Michael Ball could be
the most entertaining team director since
Horseteef.

Man, if I were an elite racer and was even remotely concerned about my
team's reputation or it's ability to get into certain events, I sure
wouldn't want Botero or Hamilton as teammates. Its a surefire recipe
for exclusion from the bigger events, and of course if you're not
participating in those events, you as a racer aren't going to ever
move up in the world.

In the US?

Perhaps not this year, but they are talking about building up for an
eventual move into Euro racing. OTOH, I could see the ToCA and TdGA
(both UCI events w/ large sponsorship involvement and both with
'invitation only' status) deciding they don't want 'em. They won't
have any trouble w/ non-UCI events or your local business park crits,
of course. Tyler went through that hassle a few years ago, but he's
over his suspension so it shouldn't be a big deal anymore.

dumbass,

michael ball is a guy who likes booking the VIP rooms at hollywood
clubs and banging models, how long do you think his interest in bike
racing will last ?

i suggest you sit back and enjoy the rock racing era while it lasts.

TH? I asked myself. Thor Hushovd? What's the rumpus?
Ball shows promise, but does he have the stamina to
go the distance or will he flame out in another
nitro fueled holocaust?

Perhaps the riders get the used models as a fringe benefit.
