  1. Hello all, I am interested in buying Specialized Epic FSR bike. My
problem is that I cannot try it before I buy it because I have to order
it. I heard that Specialized Epic is for small people. My question is
referred to Specialized Epic owners, I am 192cm (6'3''😉 tall so would
be XL frame saze enough for me? Once I ride an L size of Specialized
Epic and it was too small for me.

If you know your ideal top tube length AND seat tube angle..use those
    numbers to compare.

Specialized seat tube angle and 'virtual' top tube length. Remember,
for every degree of seat tube difference from the 'ideal', this
essentially 'changes' the top tube length by 1cm. That is, if the ideal
is 72 degrees and 60cm top tube and the Specialized is 73 degrees and
60cm top tube, ya gotta move your saddle back 1cm to get same KOPS,
essentially lengthening the top tube 1cm(do not know geometry of the
    mentioned bicycle).

XL sounds about right for your height. I wouldn't worry about that size
bike being too small. You can do alot with saddle/seapost/stem and
handlebars to get it dialed in. Order from a good LBS that is willing
to swap stems and seatposts to get you set up correctly.

I haven't played with this yet, but looks like a ball park estimator
    for different main body measures
    and several different riding styles.
