has anyone tried this saddle?
I was looking at buying a new saddle for my wife's Klein that I am refurbishing for her.
She has a Terry Butterfly on the tandem and a Fizik Vitesse on her commuter and find both of those saddles ok.
I am trying to reduce the weight on the Klein by as much as possible and this seems to be a good lightweight option.

Cheers

har anvendt sadlen på 1 tur fra Kbh til Paris i 2009 uden problemer og dette efter skifte til netop netop denne sadel ca. kun 3 uger før afgang:)

I've been riding the toupe for 3 seasons and absolutely love it! However, it's not the right saddle for every woman. It's very minimalist (what I love about it) and there are no distinct pressure points. But whether or not your wife will like it really depends on her riding style and fit on the bike.

Hi Lorri
I ended up using a SMP Glider on her bike which is the most comfortable saddle she's used.
I'm using the SMP composite which is great even on 200+km rides

Bums on seats... Literally.

The Toupes come in different widths and the dealer should have a 'sit board' that shows how wide the saddle needs to be in order to accomodate the pressure points indicated.

I've used a Toupe for a couple of years and its really comfortable... Then again, I'm not a girl and haven't ridden on the womens saddles but my wife loves the cheaper specialised saddle that I put on my mountain bike for her to ride around on with our daughter.
