I've tried the Splenda "minis" tablets. They use a Lactose filler
instead of the Dextrose/Maltdextrose filler of the yellow Splenda packets.
Beverages tried were Lemonade and Coffee.
The coffee tasted quite "off" with the tablets. And, it appears to me
that two tablets are NOT the sweetening equivalent of one packet - which
is the claim on the cardboard packaging of the tablet product.
Even with 3 tablets, the taste seemed about as sweet as with one packet,
but the flavor was "off".
Somewhat similar feelings were the result of testing the tablets against
the packets in Lemonade.
In coffee, the crispest and clearest sweet taste was SweetzFree - with
just pure water and Sucralose -- no "fillers" according to the bottle.
The next best coffee sweetner was the familiar Splenda packet with the
destrose based fillers.
The worst coffee sweetner was the new "mini" tablet with Lactose filler.

Other people may have different reactions, and probably do.
If anybody wants to inform the other members of the group about their
good or bad reactions to the new Splenda "mini" tablet, by all means
speak up.
