Are DT Swiss Competition 14/15/14 spokes better to use than DT Swiss Competition 15/16/15. I am a heavier rider so strength counts a lot.

There is sufficient strength in 15/16/15 DB DT Competition spokes. They are a little lighter, less stiff, and obviously require 15 g nipples. They wind up easier because they have a little less torsional stiffness. If you are over 220 pounds I wouldn't suggest you use them on the right rear. -

what's the spoke count? if you're heavy enough to say you're a heavy rider, you must be concerned. are these everyday wheels where robustness and reliability count? 32 spoke, 14/15 , and brass nipples.
