A recumbent (heading to the bridge or to St. Andrews) with a pale blue Vauxhall Corsa /right/ behind it screeching to a halt and with clouds of tyre smoke enveloping it.
Corsa driver didn't even have the wit to look embarassed as I passed in the other direction - just annoyed.
