  1. Greetings,

I am trying to find a spring conversion kit or the specs for
a pair of springs for my son's Marzocchi DH3 shocks. These
are old shocks, circa 1996. I wrote Marzocchi tech support
and am waiting to hear back, but I imagine such old shocks
are hard to find parts for. Suggestions?

    TIA, Tom M. Vermont, USA

Nice shocks. I picked one up used a couple of years ago.

I bought some seals for them at http://www.ukbikestore.co.uk last year... I wonder if they know anything about them.

I wanted to do this so-called spring conversion as well... but I opened them up last year I found springs in them already. I don't know how I can help you though... as I'm not an expert.

I have the manual and parts list in PDF format, if you like.

I did a search in my old e-mails for any information from 2003... when I hunted for an answer about the springs.

Here are some excerpts from one of the responses I got:

    Hi!
The springs I have are 154mm long 23,2mm diam. The wire is 3,25mm and there is 19 turns on the spring. I'm not sure if they were too heavy or too light for me (I had a 90mm kit on my DH3), either way I did buy another springs to my fork.

The springs are 154mm long and you can have 90mm stroke with them if you have the longer pistonrods (or whatevere they are called in this fork). They work as well with 77mm stroke.
