Sprint, points race national champions crowned in Carson

Eight more national champions were crowned Friday on day three of the 2007 USA Cycling Elite Track National Championships as elite and U23 categories of the menandrsquo;s and womenandrsquo;s sprint and points race were contested. Among the winners on Friday were Michael Blatchford, who won both the elite and U23 title in the men's sprint, Jennie Reed, who captured the women's sprint and Mike Friedman and Becky Quinn who took home points race jerseys. The 2007 USA Cycling Elite Track National Championships conclude on Saturday.
