DOes anyone know what professional sprinters like Cippolini e.a. are capable of in terms of watts and rpm in a final sprint?

    600 watts and 170 rpm ?

    Around 1600 to 1800+ W, probably around 130+ revs/min. World class track sprinters (200m) are ~2000+ W

Most males (all??; cyclists; and healthy sedentary and less than 60 y o???) could exceed 600 W

All current male Australian team track sprinters produce between 1900 - 2200watts.
Kerrie Meares (Australian female sprinter) produces 1300 watts which is about the same as what Robbie McEwen produces in a bunch sprint.
    (Info from Bicycling Australia)

Also read in Bicycling Australia a couple of years ago that male olympic track sprinters can reach a cadence of 210rpm with no resistance.

Don't know much about roadies but from watching mario's sprints I'd say he has more power than robbie but slower cadence.
