I'm sure there is info here regarding SRAM 10 speed chains and the POWERLOCK not POWERLINK that comes with it. It is supposed to be a one time use thing. Now that I found that out after the fact, I managed to unlock mine after about 30 minutes and a few choice words, I cleaned my chain, and managed to snap it back together, is this thing safe to ride? or should I get a new one?

It is designed to be one use. 'Some' have broken, I wouldn't mess with it. Get a Wipperman link, replace the sram one with it.
