My bike is equipped with full 2007 Dura-Ace, except for my FSA K-Force Compact crankset (50/34T). The rear hub is Mavic (Ksyrium ES). I usually use the Ultegra 11-23 cassette that came with my bike. However, I have a week (1000 km +) tour across my province and I want to get one more low-end gear (just in case). I don't want to give up my 11 if I can avoid it, due to the 50T big chain ring.

So, I am deciding between a SRAM (OG-1070) 11-26 vs. Shimano 105 11-25 10 speed cassette. I assume the SRAM would be better quality and more durable and perhaps lighter than 105, but I don't know how will it shift with the D-A derailleur and D-A 10-speed chain. compared to the Shimano 105. Any advice ??

Addenum: Does anyone know if Shimano has a new Ultegra 11-25 ? I see it listed in the specs for one of the new Trek Madones.

Both will work fine in that drivetrain. You should choose based on whether you want that 26 or 25 or whether the lower cost of the 105 matters to you since you may not use it that much after the trip. The actual difference between 25 and 26 won't be that much either, but a little lower may be better, just in case. The few grams weight difference is negligible in terms of effect on your riding.
