SRAM 9sp PowerLink Reinstalling OK?

heard a lot about not re-using/installing a quick link, went to check on recommendation for the SRAM 9sp PowerLink but cant find any...

can it be reliably re-installed? Not from an old chain to a new chain but simply when cleaning a chain off the bike... disconnect>clean>reinstall?

That's fine - I do that all the time.

You don't want to use an old link with a new chain =)

The 8 speed and 9 speed PowerLinks can be reinstalled many times without any problems, but SRAM does not recommend reinstalling their 10 speed link.
