quick question.

will the front derailleur work with the older 10 speed shifters? i am reading conflicting things were it is advertised that it wont against people posting reviews that the front at least works with the older 10 speed. anyone try this out on the forum?

thanks!!

FWIW. Knowing what 'I' know about SRAM's business model, the "Yaw"-capable front derailleur will be a beneficial replacement for all previous SRAM front derailleurs despite SRAM's official pronouncement to the contrary ...

If you are truly in doubt, then switch to Campagnolo shifters!!!

Several years ago, Lennard Zinn successfully mated 10-speed Campagnolo shifters to an otherwise 10-speed SRAM equipped bike.

You have a point. Regardless of yaw, I'd be skeptical that an 11-speed FD would work with a 10-speed chain at all.

Works fine on my 10-speed group, great derailleur. Velonews ran a good article about the cross compatibility.

If they tried it and it works, cool.
