  1. Today I tried out the new SRAM Force on the Specialized S-Works Roubaix. Before making the leap from Shimano/Campagnolo to SRAM, what do I need to know of the new system?

  2. it's in it's first year of production i would give it a year or so.

You tell us, you are the one that has tried it.

  4. i played with one in a stand at a race... it was ok a little getting used too. the lever felt a little blocky to me, shifts were crisp tho.But the sram guy was a huge [censored] to me. instant turn-off for me about sram

  5. Caveat Emptor -- with all the hype right now SRAM may sound better than it really is. There is a great article in Bicycling Magazine about the challenges with the Gruppo. I agree with the poster here -- wait a year or two for them to iron out the kinks. Not all shops have the tools for this gruppo. My gut tells me that there is even a slight chance that this Gruppo may end up getting scrapped because Campy and Shimano have so much marketshare. It's a really tough market sector to crack.🙄
