hey,
I'm getting my SS up and running but how do i make sure i get the right
chain length?
I'm using a spring-loaded mech style tensioner/device as I've got both a 16
and 18 tooth ring that I'd like to use, swopping them over occassionally.
Presuambly I don't need to change chains every time a change sprockets while
using this type of tensioner?
If not, is the method of using the biggest (or only) chainring and sprocket
and adding 2 links, an appropriate method? (again, using the tensioner).
If i'm lucky enough to not need a tensioner with either permutation of
ring/sprockets that i choose, what is the chain length method then? how much
slack? (should there ideally be non whatsoever or a little incase\when i
need to pull up on the handle bars and stomp down on the pedals on those
uphills?
thanks
