I came across this thread subject "Cancerous fruits" while looking for information about how
cruciferous veggies like broccoli and cauliflower inhibit the thyroid gland. From what I understand
they are goitrogens and excessive intake of these veggies reduce uptake of iodine. When one does not
have a thyroid gland due to thyroid cancer surgery what happens ? Besides I read that cruciferous
veggies are NOT related to an increased thyroid cancer risk, contrary to what Stanbro said in the
other thread.
Thanks Anita
