How many millimeters of spacers can one use before things look just plain silly? Additionally, how many of you have your stem @ 100 deg. in order to get a proper fit?

well there in no rule as how many spacers u can have and u can bye spacers from 2mm to 60mm depending on the rise on ur stem and how far u like o lean over is how u should work out the space u can even have spacers on top of the stem if u want untill u know what u want. most road bikes have a bout a 30mm wirth of spacers with a straight stem . and moutain bikes have about the same with a righ rise stem. My new bike is full carbon stem bars frame steerer and forks i run a 20 mm below(4x5mm) 7mm above (5mm and 2mm) the only thing is with carbon steerers u need to make sure the expander will go down far enough so as not to crack the steerer
