Anyone know what the stock stem length is on the Giant TCR2 in Size L? Giant's website apparently lacks a spec section with all those pesky little details. ; >{

The one on mine is a size too large, but it isn't marked anywhere on the outside from what I can tell.

Thanks.

Probably easiest to measure it yourself.

The conventional way to report stem size is to measure from center of bar clamp to center of fork axis in millimeters or sometimes centimeters, depending on the manufacturer. The stock size that came with the bike may not match what is in a catalog. Sometimes availability to the manufacturer changes and the substitute. Most bikes come with a 100-120mm or so stock stem

Thanks. I knew I was probably going to wind up doing it that way, but I was hoping that info would be out there somewhere.

No, it's not that. I ride a 58 cm and the guy who sized this bike to me is a certified Serotta bike fit specialist. I was all set to go with a M, but once he took his measurements and looked at my position, he said there was no question I needed the L.

I just ordered a 10 cm FSA for it and that should do it. Thanks to all!

Take the front piece off, it should say inside the face of the stem, where the handlebars would normally be. Good luck with it. All the TCR's I have seen had 100 stock length for stems.
