  1. Hi All

I’m looking for a bike computer that I can mount on the handle bar stem instead of the side of the handle bars itself. I have seen the Mavic WINTECH ES which is a center stem mounted. I was wondering if anyone knows of any other computers the are stem mounted like the Mavic WINTECH ES.

    Thanks

  2. with the correct length rubber band any computer can probably be a stem-mounted computer.

personally i bought a Sigma BC1600 which had two rubber bands, one for 26mm bars and one for 31.8mm bars, neither was long enough to allow me to use my stem. so... i just looped the two rubber bands together and it worked like a charm.

    improvise!

For most Computers you can buy a stem mount for a few bucks extra. VDO for example.
Before buying the Wintech, take a close look at it (in a Shop) and compare it to other Computers.
