How do you determine the stiffness of a road bike frame? How would i know by riding whether my roadbike frame is stiff or not? Thanks

You probably know that frame stiffness is not thought to relate very much to efficiency. If you get no "noodling" on fast descents, if your brake pads never rub the rims when they're not supposed to and if you can't feel frame flex, then you don't have a problem.

If it feels good when you ride it, who cares?

while sitting on the bike, pull up hard on one side of the bars and push down hard on the other, you will see the frame flexing. this method will not give you an accurate measurement but its an easy way to compare bikes. For me, as long as the bike does'nt feel like a loose piece of spagetti when sprinting up hill its fine.

For me, is the decent. Say try 30-40 miles/hr; how does it feel?
