Today at about 12:45 a black Marin Muirwoods was stolen in my street in
West London. Not from me or my neighbours, but from a cycle trainer who
was giving one of my neighbours a lesson. It was kitted out with
practical stuff like mudguards and a rack, and it is a little more than
inconvenient for the person who has lost it, because it is the tool of
their trade.
Should you be offered such a bicycle, could you check with the police
register of stolen frame numbers before parting with you hard earned cash.
I'll be keeping an eye on eBay.
