The hearing should be interesting. He's still not saying what the alleged
"inconsistencies" are between the Athens and Vuelta test findings. And he
still hasn't clarified what the surgical intervention was that he mentioned
immediately after learning of the positive Athens test.

I'm not holding my breath on that one. Surgical interventions involving
transfusions are pretty rare, and if he's never had one he sure as hell
isn't going to clarify what he meant when he said that. And I'm guessing
he hasn't because if he had then he'd have a explanation for the comment
that people would believe.

So I'm expecting silence on that one.

Did I post the right URL? I was talking about the 'former' racer allegedly
demanding payment to influence the outcome of testing. Bizarre. Equally
strange that Urs would take it seriously enough to meet with the guy, fake
moustache and all. Oh well, nobody ever said cycling was boring in the
off-season...er, wait... ;-D
