At the risk of starting yet another flame war between differetn road users, thought some people here would like to know that at least the BBC are trying to do their bit :-) I've just received this email, whoch is of no use to me as I don't drive (shame they haven't got a program for cyclists who get stressed but hte actions of other road users (be that cyclists, bus drivers, HGV drivers, motorists, pedestrians, horse riderws ..... :-)
"We are currently producing a new 8 part documentary series for BBC1 about stress management. We want to hear from people who get irritated and stressed when behind the wheel! The show will recruit 6 contributors whose lives are being affected negatively by the stress and strain of driving and want to change their habits.
Over a two week period they will embark on an intensive training scheme with some of the country’s leading experts. Participants will be put through a challenging programme of therapies ranging from driving skills to stress and anger management.
The show is designed to be fun yet effective and would be very beneficial to anyone who feels they need some coping mechanisms to help them through their day!!"
