Stripping paint from Ti

Has anyone tried to strip paint off a titanium frame bike. If so how,and how did it turn out ? I'm thinking about giveing it a try. Thanks

Take it to a place that has a bead blaster especially if the thing is electrostatic paint (baked on). Get a recommendation on composition of the beads from your Ti frame builder. If the paint is a wet type then any paint stripper should work. You can use scotchbrite to get the finish you want by selecting the pad type. Then lemon pledge gives a nice sheen to the bike. Put your decals back on first.

Yeah.. a friend did this to a Colnago Ti. bike before... ouchhhhh !!!!
