    Hey guys and dolls..

I found a nifty Garrity Multi-function Safety Light on closeout..

I think the regular price is about $12.00. The light is cylinder shape with dimension of 6" long by
1.5" diameter and has a lanyard. The revolving strobe portion has about 2.5" cylinder surface area.
This baby is well built and pretty bright!!!

Here is a write-up from Garrity flashlight web site.

Multi Function Safety Light ITEM #: S300GST06A

An absolutly essential item for anyone that owns an automobile. Each year hundreds of people are
injured or killed by oncoming motorists during a roadside emergency. The Multi Function Safety
Light is not only a flashlight but also a powerful ROTATING strobe light that can be seen up to 1
mile away to alert other motorists of a disabled vehicle ahead.

FEATURES & BENEFITS 2 Lights in One! Powerful magnet secures the strobe to your vehicle. Emergency,
flashing, red strobe. Flashes up to 30 hours. Lifetime Guarantee

The second item I picked up from the closeout bin was an Energizer EM420WB-E travel gear safety
light with lanyard and magnetic base. One light / 4aa batteries with amber warning flasher.

The safety light is a collasping (telescoping) flashlight. In flashlight mode, the size of the
flashlight is 5 1/2" by 1 1/2" diameter. When fully extended (amber light), the light is 6.5" long.
The cylinder surface area with amber lens is 1" long for 360 degree visibility. The bulb is a
regular krypton gas flashlight bulb powered by 4AA batteries. This light is pretty nifty as well.

Both models are pretty nifty and are good stand alone devices or additions / replacements to your
    LED blinkies.

If you can only buy one.. get the Garrity light.. It looks like a light fazer from Star Wars movies.
The handle is just the right size for my hand.

You won't be disappointed..especially if you can get the light for less than $10.00.

Much obliged. Nick Lee Sparks, NV carless since January 2000. member of 5 digit mileage club
