Hi - I would first like to which you all Happy Holydays !!
I read that the recommended sugar concentration in drink are around 10%
and that cyclists will tolerate solutions of up to 15% to 20%.
On the other hand the concentration of Hammer gel is nearly 70% [ Serving Size: 2 tbsp. (33g) , Total Carbohydrates 23 g ].
Does it have anything to do with th of complex carcohydrates (maltodextrin) ?
What actually makes it work well with a 70% solution ?
Thanks,
Noam
