  1. Made the annual pilgrimage to the brunch buffet, as is
our custom on Superbowl Sunday. Ate a whole lot of food,
but I could never eat enough to make it a financially wise
    meal choice.

Nothing different, they have this brunch thing down pat.
They have really delicious marinated skirt steak, yummy roasted
vegetables, nice fruit ... and of course, piles of bacon.

I got a couple of waffles (the small round kind) ... I couldn't
pour the syrup, the glass jar was full, I couldn't pick it up and
turn it all with one hand, so the guy said Want me to pour it
for you? A greatful yes. Tell me when. Hello, don't be shy now!
Keep pourin! (laugh) Nicely crispy waffles.

I had a nice big spoonful of potatoes au gratin, they didn't look
like the ones out of the box, go figure.

Of course all the other stuff, from caprese salad to eggs benedict
to whatever, everything was very good that I tried. Desserts, well
of course. Chocolate covered strawberries, delicious, not like the
wintery ones you see often this time of year. Canole, some kind of
mousse cup with raspberry, all kinds of stuff. Loved it.

So good. Made a last pass on the way out to check out the ice
sculpture, a lighthouse with a sport fish of some sort in front of it,
a sailfish maybe? Very nice. Our table overlooked the river, very
pretty, let's do this again next year.

    us all?
