I have had this awesome bicycle for almost 2years. People are always asking me where it came from and how old it is, but I have no clue. I have been trying to research it, but I can't find anything! It's a superia explorer star, all shimano parts, no serial number, shifters on the down tube, classic road bicycle, suede seat, pretty worn, olympic design on the handlebars. I love this bicycle. I hope someone out there can point me in the right direction to finding some info. on it.

Superia was a Belgium marque that sponsored various professional teams throughout the '60s & 70s. It is thought that Merckx started his professional racing on a Superia.

Thanks for that info. I looked up Eddie Merckx and found a few things about him starting with superia, but still no solid info. I've typed every word I can think of and keep coming up with nothing. Is there nothing left out there about the superia brand in particular?
