This is a very inspirational and emotive story. That trip represented her only way to honor her brother, and their passion which is cycling. Through her action, she has motivated others to raise money for a foundation, and awake conscience about don't getting distracted while driving, specially by using your phone, people can get killed for it like that young man. So proud of people like her, that face their pain by doing good.

The cellphone is often the culprit when accidents happen due to distracted driving that's why there is now a law in our country that prohibits the use of the cellphone when driving. That prohibition covers drivers even when on a traffic stop. That means you cannot use your phone when you are in front of the steering wheel. And if that is fully implemented, it will be more effective if all major roads will have a bike lane that will be strictly implemented as well. So many riders are injured and killed here everyday due to accidents that may be caused by distracted driving.

In the U.S., cellphone driving laws continue to vary from state to state and by locality, although 48 out of 50 states and several non-state territories have banned texting while driving, including 43 states that make this a primary offense (meaning drivers can be pulled over by police and cited for texting without committing any other simultaneous infraction.)
