So since we are on the topic of spammers, why havent the forums been upgraded to a more recent version of PHP/PHPBB where new user posts have to be reviewed before they are allowed to post for the first 5 or 10 times. I mean either use that or image/email conformation when users sign up. Every day we spammer after spammer, and it seems that the admins really don't want to be bothered to address the main issue.
