Tandem ride in Sydney

Sydney Tandems are having a get together this Sunday.
The ride will be from Summer Hill through to Centennial Park.
From there we will go through Randwick on the cycle route through to
Tempe where we will join the the Cooks River Cyleway that goes to
Brighton Le Sands.There is a nice place to have lunch on the
beachfront.
Back through Tempe again and back to Summer Hill via the Cooks River
Cycleway and through the back streets of Marrickville.
Ride will commence at 9am

Anyone who has and or is interested in tandems are welcome to join in.

Sounds good, but travelling to Sydney on the weekend just
feels like going to work

How many people are likely to ride?
There's 3 or 4 tandems in our little district, which always amazes me.

Hi Kingsley

I can relate to avoiding Sydney on the weekend.
I am hoping for at least 6 tandems. We will list the next one in the Australian Cyclist to try and get a few more people interested. This is more of a get together to see who's out there than a serious ride.
We will be doing the Queensland ride later on this year and hopefully we may get to the Dungog Pedalfest which is more up your way.

Ken started the yahoo group with the name Sydney tandems but we will change the name soon it hopefully provide a resource Australia wide rather than local.
