Read on Eurosport that Tommy D has dropped out of the Dauphine. Anyone know anything about this, doesn't seem to be that much proper coverage of the Dauphine this year. It also appears that Levi's dropped down quite a few spots on the GC?

Hmm, maybe this post should have gone in the Discovery in disarray thread?

Oh, and Haussler managed to beat Boonen in the sprint, not looking so great for his Green Jersey chances.

There goes my pick. At first I picked Leipheimer but decided that he might not want to burn himself out defending the title, so TD seemed like a decent choice, especially when he said he had tagetted the Dauphine. You give Tommy D. a chance and he lets you down.

Maybe he decided he would go back to the U.S. and set some more solo records on climbs.

TD apparently has food poisoning and abbandoned. There also appears to have been a glitch in the initial GC after stage 1. If you look now it has been corrected and Levi as well as George are in the top 5.
